Area Planning
Welcome to the Franklin County Area Planning, Zoning & Building Department
The County Plan Commission issues building permits, administers zoning regulations and conducts building inspections for all constructions in the county except for Batesville Corporation; accepts petitions for the Area Plan Commission and the Board of Zoning Apeals for variances, conditional uses, rezones and subdvisions. We also address complaints in regards to inoperable and unlicensed vehicles and junk. Complaint Form
