Traffic tickets are payable online at https://public.courts.in.gov/pay/

Marriage License are issued between 8:30 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  You can start the application process online at www.in.gov/judiciary/marriage

Friday, February 7, 2020 at NOON is the deadline to file a declaration of candidacy for the Primary Election.

2020 Campaign Packets are available now to pick with all information needed for candidates.   Come to Room 104.

VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS APRIL 6TH

Neysa R. Raible, Clerk of Franklin County would like to announce that Monday, April 6th, 2020 is the last day to register to Vote for May 5th, 2020 Primary Elections.  You may register within the Clerk’s Office at Franklin County Courthouse, first floor Monday thru Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM or you may register to vote online at www.indianavoters.com 24 hours a day until midnight April 6, 2020.

I would like to encourage everyone to check out the State of Indiana website www.indianavoters.com.  It is a public site that can register you to vote, update your voter registration, verify your voter registration, find your polling location, review candidates on my ballot, obtain an absentee application and track the progress of your absentee ballot.

ABSENTEE VOTING METHODS

The May 5th, 2020 Primary Election Day is quickly approaching.  Neysa R. Raible, Franklin County Clerk would like to remind Franklin County Registered Voters there are several options available to you, if you find yourself unable to vote during voting hours (6:00 am to 6:00 pm) on May 5th.

Options are as follows:

ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL – CURRENTLY ACCEPTING

To receive an Absentee ballot, you must first submit an absentee application form in person, by phone, by mail or by email.  An absentee application can be requested from the Clerk’s Office or online.

The VOTE BY MAIL absentee application form may be printed from the State of Indiana’s Website:   www.indianavoters.com  or

DEADLINE:  VOTE BY MAIL is April 23, 2020 at 11:59 PM before midnight.

ABSENTEE VOTING IN PERSON

Voting in person at the Courthouse will begin TUESDAY, APRIL 7TH, 2020

Location:     Please come to Room 103 to start the voting process.  Voting will take place in the Clerk’s Conference Room, located on the first floor of the Franklin County Courthouse.

Hours:         Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Two Saturday’s, April 25th and May 2nd, 2020 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Deadline in person voting:  May 4th, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (NOON)

Reminders:

  1. Voters will be required to provide a government-issued photo ID to vote in person.
  2. During a Primary Election you WILL be required to declare which party (Democratic or Republican) ballot in which you wish to vote.

ABSENTEE VOTING BY TRAVELING BOARD

The Franklin County Clerk’s Office is currently accepting absentee applications to VOTE BY TRAVELING BOARD.  This method is for a confined voter, a voter caring for a confined person, a voter with disabilities to vote an absentee ballot before an absentee voter board at voter place of confinement within Franklin County.

The first day TRAVEL BOARD VOTING will begin on April 16, 2020 and will continue until the deadline date

ABSENTEE VOTING BY MILITARY/OVERSEAS

You may obtain the MILITARY/OVERSEAS absentee application by contacting the Clerk’s Office at 765-647-5111 ext. 3 or by logging onto the State of Indiana’s Website:  www.indianavoters.com or Click here for FPCA (Federal Post Card Application) Military

Also, military personnel should be able to go to their base commanding office and get absentee forms as well.
