 VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 5TH

Neysa R. Raible, Clerk of Franklin County would like to announce that Monday, October 5th, 2020 is the last day to register to Vote for November 3rd, 2020 General Elections.  You may register within the Clerk’s Office at Franklin County Courthouse, first floor Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM or you may register to vote online at www.indianavoters.com 24 hours a day until midnight April 6, 2020.

I would like to encourage everyone to check out the State of Indiana website www.indianavoters.com.  It is a public site that can register you to vote, update your voter registration, verify your voter registration, find your polling location, review candidates on my ballot, obtain an absentee application and track the progress of your absentee ballot.

ABSENTEE VOTING METHODS

The November 3rd, 2020 General Election Day is quickly approaching!  Neysa R. Raible, Franklin County Clerk would like to remind Franklin County Registered Voters there are several options available to you, if you find yourself unable to vote during voting hours (6:00 am to 6:00 pm) on November 3rd.

Options are as follows:

ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL – CURRENTLY ACCEPTING

To receive an Absentee ballot, you must first submit an absentee application form in person, by phone, by mail or by email.  An absentee application can be requested from the Clerk’s Office or from this link; alternatively, interested voters may fill out the application online at indianavoters.com. Step-by-step instructions on how to complete the online application can be found below.

The VOTE BY MAIL absentee application form may also be printed from the State of Indiana’s Website at this link.

**THE WEBSITES WILL NOT SUBMIT HARD-COPY FORMS FOR YOU.  YOU MUST PRINT AND SUBMIT YOURSELF.

Applications must be received by the county Clerk’s office by TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2020 by NOON.

ABSENTEE VOTING IN PERSON

Voting in person at the Courthouse will begin TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7TH, 2020 (Dates pending on Election Board approval).

Location:     Please come to Room 103 to start the voting process.  Voting will take place in the Clerk’s Conference Room, located on the first floor of the Franklin County Courthouse.

Hours:         Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Two Saturday’s, October 24th and October 31st, 2020 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Deadline in person voting:  November 2nd, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (NOON)

Reminder: Voters will be required to provide a government-issued photo ID to vote in person.

ABSENTEE VOTING BY TRAVELING BOARD

The Franklin County Clerk’s Office is currently accepting absentee applications to VOTE BY TRAVELING BOARD.  This method is for a confined voter, a voter caring for a confined person, a voter with disabilities to vote an absentee ballot before an absentee voter board at voter place of confinement within Franklin County.

The first day TRAVEL BOARD VOTING will begin on October 15, 2020 and will continue until the deadline date of November 2, 2020.

You may obtain the MILITARY/OVERSEAS absentee application by contacting the Clerk’s Office at 765-647-5111 ext. 3 or by logging onto the State of Indiana’s Website:  www.indianavoters.com or Click here for FPCA (Federal Post Card Application) Military

Also, military personnel should be able to go to their base commanding office and get absentee forms as well.
