Marriage License are issued between 8:30 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  You can start the application process online at www.in.gov/judiciary/marriage

MAY 25, 2018 – DEADLINE, BY NOON, for a candidate to file a verified election recount or contest petition.

May 25, 2018 – VOTER REGISTRATION OPENS, process new registrations or make changes

May 25, 2018 – FIRST DAY the circuit clerk may receive absentee ballot applications from most voters for the general election

July 25, 2018 – to file a petition of nomination and consent for a school board member chosen at the general election.

DEADLINE FOR DEMOCRATIC/REPUBLICAN PARTY TO FILL VACANCY ON GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT

Saturday, June 30, 2018 by NOON, for the Democratic or Republican Party to select a candidate to fill a vacancy on the general election ballot due to a vacancy resulting from no candidate being nominated at a primary.

Deadline, by noon, for the Libertarian Party to conduct a convention to nominate candidates or to take action to fill a ballot vacancy following a convention.

Monday, July 2, 2018 by NOON, for an independent or minor party candidate to file a petition of nomination with a county voter registration office for  verification of petition signatures.

Tuesday, July 3, 2018 by NOON, for the Democratic or Republican to file a certificate of selection stating that a vacancy on the general election ballot resulting from a vacancy on the primary election ballot has been filled.
