Change in office hours – We have found overwhelming support to continue working the 4-day work schedule. The public’s response has been substantially more positive than negative. The main feedback we have heard from residents is how they can now get to our office before going to work themselves. The change of moving to a 4-day work week from five allows the employees to work an additional part-time job to help supplement their income for their families. It has become increasingly difficult for the employees making $16.82 an hour and restricted to not working more than 32.5 hours a week to make it. We are hopeful this new work schedule will be a benefit for all.Â
Our new hours are as follows:
Monday – 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Closed 12:00 -12:30 p.m. for lunch)
Tuesday – 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Closed 12:00 -12:30 p.m. for lunch)
Wednesday – 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Closed 12:00 -12:30 p.m. for lunch)
Thursday – 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Closed 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for lunch)
Fridays:Â Appointment onlyÂ
