Rob has been surveying in the Franklin County community for 30 years. He works closely with the citizens, businesses, and landowners. He graduated from Cincinnati Technical College with an Associates in Civil Engineering. He received his license as a professional Land Surveyor in 2002. Rob is dedicated to making the Surveyor’s Office more accessible for citizens of Franklin County and using his time in office to further develop the Perpetuation of Section Corners.

Shannon is a key member of the Franklin County Surveyor’s Office, known for her dedication, precision, and expertise. Despite lacking a traditional surveying background, her work is vital for the office's success. As a survey equipment and data collection specialist, she efficiently operates survey tools and collects data accurately. She excels as a Master Researcher & Records Expert, capable of finding important information through various records and analyses. As a GIS and mapping specialist, she manages data and mapping precisely. Shannon also specializes in archiving and digitizing essential documents for easy access. As the office's community resource and public liaison, she assists landowners and others with professionalism and consideration.

Nathan Stringer

Land Surveyor Technician


Nathan Stringer has been part of the Franklin County Surveyor’s Office for over three years, beginning his journey through a high school co-op program. Now holding an associate degree in Land Surveying, Nathan works part-time assisting with section corner research and field work. Whether he’s out in the field or in the office compiling data, Nathan brings a strong work ethic, a sharp eye for detail, and a reputation for honesty in everything he does. He’s known not only for his technical skills but also for simply being a genuinely great guy.
